About Me
I have been with Celebrating Home since 2008 during the company's transition when Home & Garden Party bought Home Interiors & Gifts and then became Celebrating Home. We recently acquired Penelope Ann which offers accessories for YOU!
My education consists of a High School Diploma in June of 1989 as a Art, Business, and Math major. I am very organized, honest, friendly, artistic, creative, and pay attention to detail. While I enjoy running my own business, I do it part time as I work during the day as a Receptionist in a Senior Apartment Complex for the last six years. In 2009 I was voted as Employee of the Year by my staff and residents.
In the party plan business, I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends, and helping others in both my job as well as my business. I get more joy out of seeing my customers reaction when they realize how much product they're going to get for FREE than I get with my compensation plan. In addition to having one to three Home Shows a month, I also enjoy participating in vendor events, fairs and expos, and Girl's Night Out Events on a regular basis.
I attend company trainings and most of my units; monthly meetings on a regular basis to stay up to date with sales and specials, decorating ideas, sponsoring, etc. I make a lot of my own flyers, personalized and themed invitations, and sometimes create my own marketing/advertising ads. I also take arts/crafts classes, decorating classes, and computer classes on-line or by attending night courses during my own time to stay up to date with today's home traditions and computer programs. Since October 2012, I've joined my local Ken-Ton Chamber of Commerce and I am a regular parishioner of St. Amelia's Church. My hobbies include arts/crafts, making wreaths/baskets, drawing/painting, home decorating, and sewing.
My avarage party is $300 to $500 in party retail. In addition to our Hostess Program, which was voted number one in the nation, I also offer my hostesses fun themed Home Shows, customer games and nice prizes, and a personalized thank you basket just for making me feel welcome in their home to celebrate with their Family and Friends. I offer Home Shows as a wedding/baby shower or Birthday Party Event as well. My Hostesses also receive my personal, decorating service for FREE!
