The jewelry in candle melted evenly and the wax is cool to the touch. the store bought one had some black smoke for the wick but not the jewelry in candle. And the last part is what really did it. The store bought one melted down the center to half the candle in about 2 hours. The jewelry in candle one only melted about 1/8 inch in 2 hours. They both cost about the same however the jewelry in candle also came with a beautiful ring valued at about $45.
